USP :City Centre Racing with a rural bike route, the best marshals in the business!!
The Deva Triathlon is an Olympic distance triathlon held in the centre of the historic City of Chester. It is currently in its 16th Year and is run by the City of Chester Triathlon Club members.
In 2014 we will retian the same course that was a huge success in 2013, we have had so many fantastic comments about the new course being located right in the heart of the City. Transition is in the fabulous Grosvenor Park, a fantastic Victorian Park we should have its £3.5million refurbishment finished for the race. The bike route will be a single lap into Wales via Eccleston, Rossett and Borras and back into Chester via Alford and Boughton. The run route will incorporate running over the Old Dee Bridge as well as the suspension bridge, along the Groves and in the meadows with the finish being at the Bandstand, a truly City Centre race.
